Liberty Automotive Technologies was built on a few simple ideas.  The first is to identify the big new trends in the automotive aftermarket and to identify the product opportunities for installers to generate profits and to make their customers happy.


The current big trends in the automotive aftermarket are the rollout of gasoline direct injection engines, and the introduction of emission controls on diesel engines.

In 2000 our founder, Scott Irwin, started an automotive aftermarket distribution company in Illinois around his main product line of the Terraclean fuel service technology.  It is this experience that has formed the basis of our program for distributors.  


Our focus is to identify good solid people (get up early, work hard, treat people fairly, love to continuously learn, have solid abilities to manage personal finances), then we do a lot of business development on your behalf so that your initial order is largely pre-sold.  We want you to be generating cash flow as quickly as possible in business and then to grow solidly after that.

We Focus on Distributor Support

Having had the experience of growing a distribution business with little practical or useful support from our vendors, we focus on getting you started well and generating cash flow.


How do we do it?  Multiple visits before your first order to get in place a number of customers.  Our printed sales and technical support/training materials give you what you need to generate credibility with potential customers.


We support you after that with regular visits, video library for key business and product knowledge (under development)a Distributor Council (12 distributors), an annual meeting at SEMA/AAPEX, monthly online meetings and options for other meetings in the woods of Canada.
